What is Harassment in the Workplace? Harassment in the workplace is a form of discrimination and may include offensive jokes, physical assaults or threats, intimidation, ridicule, insults, offensive pictures and interference with work performance.   A successful organization requires positive and professional relationship between employees. Offensive behaviour among colleagues can damage work relationships. Such behaviour can cause high levels of stress and lower employee morale.  Anti-Harassment Policy The anti-harassment policy expresses organization's commitment to maintain a workplace that’s free of harassment, so that employees can feel safe and happy. Anyone intimidating, humiliating or sabotaging others in the workplace will not be tolerated. Willful discrimination based on age, sexual orientation, ethnicity, racial, religion or disability will not be allowed [Hargrave v.
